DEMON HUNTER: PURPLE DOOR 2010

NOTE: This is a fundraiser for critically ill children and homeless pets!

It’s better to give than to receive but what if we can do both? Signed by Ryan, Jon, Patrick and Yogi of DEMON HUNTER and the photographer, this limited edition, hand-numbered zine features 22 all-access photographs of the band at the Purple Door Arts & Music Festival in 2010 and nearly 85% of its net profits go to MAKE-A-WISH and the RANDOLPH COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER

DEMON HUNTER had just released “The World Is A Thorn” earlier in 2010 and were playing the Purple Door Arts & Music Festival not far from where I lived at the time. I reached out to Ryan Clark and we arranged for me to shadow the band the entire day with my camera in hand. I later learned the band would host a young mega-fan whose request through MAKE-A-WISH was to spend a day with the guys. While the young man is not featured in the zine, his spirit is the inspiration behind the numbered and signed zine’s fundraising efforts.

During the pandemic lockdowns of 2020, I revisited the images in hopes of raising funds to perhaps grant another young boy or girl their own wish while also supporting the animals my wife and I volunteer to care for at Randolph County Animal Shelter here in Alabama. I see this zine as a way to pay forward the good vibes of that day into a world that can use some healing.” — Tom Bejgrowicz

• Hand-numbered limited edition of 300 copies

• Signed by Demon Hunter and photographer, Tom Bejgrowicz

• Saddle-stitched 28-page zine

• 22 rich B&W photographs

• Dimensions: 5.5” wide x 8.5” tall

The cost is $18, including S&H within the U.S. (int’l orders require more postage). What does that $18 do? Each sale directs $4.50 to the MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION as well as $4.50 to the RANDOLPH COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER in Alabama, where myself and my wife volunteer every week in the cat room. I would earn $1.80 from every copy for the effort and investment. The $18 also covers the cost of printing and handling, the envelopes the zines are mailed in, postage within the U.S. and any PayPal fees generated through the ordering process.
