I’ve been a successful Art Director, Designer, Photographer, and Entrepreneur over the past 2 decades including stints as an in-house designer within the walls of the legendary Capitol Records tower in Hollywood, Art Director for VRA in Birmingham, and Associate Art Director at Total Movie magazine in Los Angeles. From 2008-2014, I was a part-time instructor at the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design where I taught typography and design. I specialize in music packaging, books, and zines and have created works for Beastie Boys, Johnny Cash, The Band, Quicksand, Snapcase, Steve Earle, Deadguy, John Mellencamp, Eyehategod, Fall Out Boy, Rihanna, and countless others.

In 2019, I co-authored/art directed/designed the acclaimed and bestselling Scream With Me: The Enduring Legacy of the Misfits for Abrams Books. With a foreword by Shepard Fairey, the book has a 4.9/5 grade across almost 500 ratings and it reached #1 in three key categories: Music History & Criticism, Antique & Collectible Records, and Punk Music (Books). I’ve designed books for Abrams, Bazillion, Dark Horse, Shining Life Press, Birmingham Museum of Art, 59º North, and more.

Throughout my career, I’ve also accumulated a deep and celebrated resumé in the music industry: Beginning in 1995, I managed and created the catalog for The Misfits–including the RIAA-certified Gold coffin box set. While at Caroline, I acted as Project Manager for Hole, Bad Brains, Placebo and more. I later headed up North American A&R for Century Media where I went on to sign the 2-time Grammy nominated Shadows Fall as well as being named their VP of Marketing & Artist Affairs.
