Vol. 2 is a nod to Pixies “Debaser,” the opening track on their game changing 1989 album, Doolittle. The lyrics were written after Frank Black watched Un Chien Andalou, a film by Luis Buñuel and Salvador Dalí which features a scene where a woman’s eye is slit by a razor. I also tossed in the numbers 5, 6 & 7 to tip the cap to the “Monkey Gone To Heaven” lyric, “If man is five, then the devil is six, and if the devil is six, then God is seven.” The Pixies' influence in the hardcore scene is as strong today as it ever has been with Gulch, Drug Church, Gouge Away, and Militarie Gun carrying the flag for the legends from Boston.

The shirt is a 3-color design printed on a Bella + Canvas 3001 Vintage Black tee and leans upon typography steeped in the style of 4AD’s Vaughan Oliver’s incredible work.

The pre-order period will continue through 11:59PM next Friday, June 30th. The estimated shipping date is July 14th.
