The “Body Parts” 7” received a pressing of 240 copies on TRANSLUCENT YELLOW and are exclusively available as a stand-alone release.

DEADGUY recorded five songs with Steve Evetts at Trax East studios in February 1994, three of which were pressed onto the band’s first 7” single, White Meat. The other two tracks from that session, “Body Parts” and and early version of their stand-out track “Die With Your Mask On,” sat on a cassette given to Tom Bejgrowicz by drummer Dave Rosenberg in the mid-90s and will see the light of day for the first time in 2022.

“For over 25 years I’ve been listening to ‘Body Parts’ and the early version of ‘Die With Your Mask On,’ says Bejgrowicz. “I lost touch with [drummer] Dave Rosenberg but when I saw that ‘hell froze over’ in 2020 and the guys were talking once again, I reached out to [vocalist] Tim Singer to help reconnect me. Together we agreed to release these two tracks and document the band’s first-ever reunion show in Philadelphia. I wanted to spend the entire day with the band, from soundcheck to the final note of their set, and share that experience through an old-school zine.”

Exactly like 1994’s White Meat, the “Body Parts” single was also designed by Tim Singer, produced in a total edition of 500 copies and manufactured by United Record Pressing in Nashville. These previously-unreleased tracks were mastered for vinyl by Alan Douches at West West Side Music who also mastered DEADGUY’s classic album Fixation on a Coworker.
